Random Blog: A Special Day

I remember the 29th of March, 2014 like it was yesterday. Since it was the day after my 18th birthday, I was finding it hard to focus on my last set of exams in high school. I had also recently finished watching the gruesome series of How to Get Rejected from Colleges Five Times in A Row . After binge-watching those episodes, I needed a break from my daily routine. The only university I hadn't heard back from was my dream school. Although i was still hopeful, I had been told not to keep my expectations too high. This brings me to the day of my last decision letter. I woke up and instinctively scrolled through my inbox. It was a morning ritual that rarely brought me any joy, but it had to be done.
